The Sida Helpdesk for Environment and Climate Change can provide support through:
Methodology development: Expert input to support development of methods, guidance and tools for integrating environment and climate change issues in Sida’s work.
Capacity development: Expert input in support of capacity development and training on environment (at Sida headquarter and in partner countries), inlcuding development of training materials, organisation of seminars and workshops, and input to strategic advice to persons in management positions and coaching of groups or individual Sida staff.
Information material: Development of information materials on environment and climate change issues relevant to Sida’s general work and to specific development themes, sector or geographic regions (e.g. policy briefs, short reports).
Facilitation and Dialogue support: Process support to Sida/Embassies to facilitate environmental integration in development, implementation and monitoring of strategies, programs, or projects (e.g. including results and indicators); and support to dialogues with partners to enhance environmental integration in Sida-financed contributions.
International processes: Expert input supporting Sida in global, regional or country level selected key dialogue and negotiations.
