Environment and climate change is one of three thematic priorities for the Swedish development cooperation and constitute a central point of departure for all development cooperation. Environmental impacts, effects of climate change and associated risks shall be assessed and integrated in all aspects of Swedish development cooperation. An analysis of environmental and climate change aspects is therefore a key basis for a well-informed results strategy process. On demand the Helpdesk supports Sida by developing Regional/Country environmental and climate change analyses (policy briefs) linked to Swedish development cooperation strategy processes.
