Assignments from the MENA region include mapping exercises, support to policy processes, analysing linkages between different thematic areas, and capacity building.
Examples of the Helpdesk’s regional assignments are mapping of climate and environmental finance, analysis of linkages between environmental, security and gender issues, assessment of means to strengthen biodiversity integration, and support to workshops (e.g. green economy) for capacity building.
At the country level, assignments include policy briefs for multi-dimensional poverty analyses, collections of results and lessons learned from environmental integration, support to strategy processes and review of project proposals, especially referring to water, energy and food.
