NDCs in Tanzania and Kenya
The Helpdesk has recently carried out in-depth analyses of the Swedish development portfolios in Tanzania and Kenya. The Sida-assignment aimed to further ensure the portfolios' alignment with the countries’ climate goals under their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).
Nationally Determined Contributions
Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) embody efforts by each country to reduce national emissions and adapt to the impacts of climate change, under the Paris Agreement. Article 4 of the Paris Agreement (paragraph 2) requires each country to prepare, communicate and maintain successive NDCs that it intends to achieve.
