Supporting Albania's alignment with the EU environmental acquis

The Helpdesk is currently supporting the Swedish Embassy in Albania in the context of the country’s EU accession process, with a focus on the EU environmental acquis. The support includes a review of documents related to the acquis, and more specifically the Directive-Specific Implementation Plans (DSIPs), as well as collecting lessons learned from a programme aimed at strengthening environmental CSOs. The programme seeks to enable CSOs to actively contribute to the alignment of Albania’s legislation with the EU acquis..
